“ Seen a post on these jiggly pancakes and wanted to know what they tasted like The place Is nice and cozy inside especially with the rain we had the day we were there They let you know beforehand that it may take up to 25min for the pancakes to make and that's what we got (25min wait) We got the Butter Biscoff with vanilla ice cream and the Nutella Oreo with cookies and cream On their own without eating the pancakes they were what you expect if you've had Biscoff and Nutella before Not a big fan of the texture cuz it felt and tasted like eating pancake batter with extra eggs but I ate it all For the whole experience we gave it a 5 but I don't think the taste and texture will bring us back. 5 star experience for me Thanks for sharing! ”

“ Amazing pancakes! The cream on top is definitely the strong suit. The pancakes themselves are a little tasteless but the cream makes up for it. The vanilla ice cream was so tasty; creamy but also fresh. The crème brûlée pancakes were great, the ube ones were nice as well but I do wish there was more ube flavor. The service and ambiance was nice. ”

“ This place is basically known for its fluffy pancakes. One thing you must know is that you must make a reservation. Not to eat here, but for the fluffy pancakes. It takes time to bake them, and they want to have them ready for your arrival. I was lucky to get one as the customer decided to only do a few when, at the time of the reservation, she had reserved for several, so I got lucky right at the moment to get one. They were great, but it takes just the patience you need to reserve to be able to get a fluffy pancake. ”

“ These pancakes literally dance as you get them and then make you want to dance after tasting a bite. Yumm! I wasn't sure what the flavor would be. It's not sweet which is why they pair it with sweet toppings. It's eggy and a delicious pairing. I got the Nutella and Oreo pancake which was yummy. It ya see Ed more like Oreo! My friend got the passion fruit pancake which I'll be getting next time. I originally ordered the Creme brûlée but they were out. You have to create a reservation and you choose your pancake ahead of time. So I was a little bummed we pre-ordered it and still couldn't get it. Over all, very good and fun to try! ”

“ Was so excited to finally try this place after hearing so many amazing things! My grandma saw an article about the fluffy pancakes in the Tribune and was adamant that we go to this place during her visit. We each got fluffy pancakes of our own, and it took about 20-25 minutes for us to get our order which they are very clear about upon ordering and on their menu. We didn't mind the wait at all, and it was well communicated. The fluffy pancakes are amazing. They have a ton of sweet flavors. I got the Ube, my grandma got the passion fruit, and my mom got mango. Each order comes with a scoop of ice cream and delicious toppings. I loved the Ube pancakes and would get them again. The pancakes are delicious and so fluffy and soft. They are very sweet and I'm more of a savory breakfast girl, so I probably wouldn't come here again for breakfast, especially because they come with a side of ice cream. Definitely a place I would come back to for dessert to split with someone. Staff was SO friendly and wonderful and helpful! ”

“ Had to come here after seeing the reviews and it lived up to it! We got here right at 11 when they opened and the service was fast. We ordered the fluffy pancakes and the panna cotta bunny. Both tasted delicious!! Some reviews said there is long wait times, but luckily we didn't wait long. They hand make everything so that's probably why it can take longer for it to come out. ”

“ I finally got to indulge in a fluffy Japanese pancake and it did not disappoint. The only downside is that it takes 45 minutes to make so it's best to order ahead and pick it up. I actually found out that they would deliver to Ichiban sushi which is just a couple doors down. I didn't want to wait 45 mins in the cafe, my boyfriend and I went to ichiban for dinner and plan to take the pancake home for dessert. Right after we were done eating, we got a notification that the pancakes were ready. We called and told them we're paying the bill and will be in our way, however, they offered to bring it over to us! The server at ichiban said it was ok since they own the building and they own Kumo Cafe too! As a newbie, the texture reminded me of flan. Sometimes you get the pancake part of it because it was slightly burned on one side, but I don't mind it. I liked the "crunchy" and soft texture of it. The ice cream is from in the cloud creamery and it's damn good! This dessert is $15. It's definitely something you can share unless you have sweet tooth! ”

“ I wanted so so much to love this place but I just think that maybe the fluffy pancake and crepe lifestyle isn't the one for me. The food is plated BEAUTIFULLY but I will have to say inside looks a bit dated. That being said, it is clear that they keep the spot super clean. The staff was all so friendly and so kind. Be warned, do not come super hungry as you will have to wait for the food to get prepared. I wish I had known that going in vs reading it on yelp right before I sat down and had to wait ~25 min for the pancakes to be made. I totally get it.. it's like when you order a souflee, you've gotta pay the price in time for the fluffy goodness. We did get one crepe which was good and the yummy thing was getting ice cream for both orders. ”
